INEOS Automotive has announced that production of the Grenadier and Quartermaster will resume at its state-of-the-art plant in Hambach from January 2025, after overcoming a critical supply shortage that had led to production being suspended since September 2024.

All partners have been contacted and are ready to support the resumption of production at INEOS Automotive’s Hambach plant.
“It is fantastic that a solution has been reached so quickly,” said Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive. “Despite the complexity of supply chains in the automotive industry, we were committed to quality and we are proud to have delivered the best results and made no compromises.”
Lynn explained that the company has seen significant sales growth this year, with Grenadier sales exceeding those for the whole of 2023 before the summer. With the addition of key new markets such as China and Mexico, and significant expansion into the US, INEOS expects 2025 to be its most successful year yet.

“Thanks to the support of our partners and their readiness to resume operations, we are ready to meet the increased demand for our vehicles. I thank our customers for their patience and trust, and we look forward to handing over the keys to the Grenadier vehicles as soon as possible,” Calder added. The state-of-the-art Hambach plant produces the Grenadier station wagon, the Quartermaster double-cab truck and the Quartermaster double-cab chassis for customers on all five continents.
