Participation in line with CSR strategy to promote sports, health and fitness within community
Company to launch public competition in support of event
Emirates Motor Company Passenger Cars (EMC PC), the authorised distributor of Mercedes-Benz in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the flagship company of ALFAHIM Group, today confirmed its participation – for the third year in a row – in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship 2018.
In line with its outing at the definitive sports championship, set to run from 27 to 29 December in Abu Dhabi, EMC, the official automotive sponsor for the event, will showcase the luxurious 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS and A Class vehicles.
The partnership support, which falls within the framework of EMC’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, aims to promote sports, health and fitness within the community.
The automotive partnership also mandates EMC to deploy nine Mercedes-Benz 2019 GLS, GLE, E-Class, GLC and GLA models to facilitate the transportation of teams, event organisers and officials for support, logistics, and general transportation throughout the event.
Frank Bernthaler, Chief Executive Officer of EMC PC & AUTOROUTE, said: “In the capacity of official automotive sponsor, we are delighted to support the 11th edition of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship 2018. Our partnership demonstrates our strong commitment to highlighting the importance of health and fitness for the overall well-being of society.”
He added: “The galaxy of international athletes participating in the event and its high footfall provide the perfect platform to showcase our latest Mercedes-Benz vehicles – one of the most admired luxury cars among auto enthusiasts in the UAE.”
Through supporting key international events in the capital, EMC, part of ALFAHIM Group, an Abu Dhabi based family-run business, seeks to promote a sustainable, healthy and active lifestyle for all residents.
